NaijaNews reports that an angry mob razed the Sokoto State Commissioner for Careers and Security Matters, Garba Moyi’s, residence in the state’s Isa Local Government Area.

Garba’s house was burned down on Tuesday for alleged collusion with criminals terrorizing the neighborhood.

Vehicles belonging to the District Head of the area, Sarkin Gobir of Isa Alhaji Nasiru Ahamad, were also vandalized by the mobs for allegedly defending criminal gangs’ activities in the area.

According to a source, residents in the area have long accused the two leaders of being unconcerned about banditry in the area.
